Ummm - there's a little too much here

Here is a blog I found about some pervert who is fascinated by young womens' breasts:

bustywebshots.blogspot.com/

One might argue that this is an innovative site - not many sites are devoted to women's breasts with their bra's on. Unless they are breast cancer sites - then that is something a wee bit more important.

In our sex-drenched culture of today, this site is truly worthless. It might have made men horny, say, during the late progressive era, but when all you have to do to see hot, naked women is to type the word "porn" on Google, and you could get a lot of choices (I read recently that that is one of the most common words typed into a search engine).

This dork states:

"This blog is devoted to the natural beauty of young voluptuous girls. All pictures will be non-nude and tasteful. " (actually, some of them are not so attractive).

Yawn.

It's not like this guy's "art" is an ancient Roman nude Venus. It's just some dude with a digital camera snapping photos of a part of a women's body - something any moron can do - and apparently did.

As long as we are on this topic, I have an interesting story. I know of a guy (no, it's not me!) who bought a new computer. With the highest online speed available. So what is the first thing he does? He types in "boobs" into the search engine, and gets a lot of hits. Well, he forgot to set up security - so pervertedly anxious was he - that within an hour, the system sustained so many viruses that it crashed and was totally unusable!

I can imagine the scene that leads to getting these photos:

"Hey baby, you're pretty hot. Mind if I take pictures of your boobs so I can post it on my blog for the world to see"

"Ok, let me take my shirt off"

"No no. I have a website devoted to pictures of boobs with shirts over them."

"Ok, but I would rather people see me unclothed. Picture away!"

"Thanks. I really appreciate it"

"So, since you are so interested in my body, do you want to come over to my place for some plain old fashioned sexual intercourse."

"No thanks. I'm saving it for marriage."

Ok, if you are a religious guy who doesn't look at a woman's body like a slobbering psychopath, then the last comment is justified. However, if you are interested in a part of the women's body that our society has placed a semi-sexual taboo on, then such comment is out of place - and you should certainly be ashamed of yourself for putting together such an absurdly lousy site.

P.S. I just looked a bit further into this site before casting it off.
I don't think the editor is taking the pictures himself. Instead, he appears to be surfing the internet and posting pictures from other women's Myspace sites (or whatever else they use to post their party pics). Probably without their permission. THIS MAN IS A GENIUNE CREEP!

Whatever you do, do not let this pervert anywhere near your daughter. Why? Remember Ted Bundy???

Opposing the last one - a Catholic Blog

While I presented a blog yesterday that bordered on bigotry, today I will present the other side. A Catholic blog. And no, I'm not Catholic.

The blog is:

billcork.blogspot.com/

From my brief review of the blog, this author addresses things from a Catholic perspective. He talks a lot about Catholicism, too. And he tries to follow the tenants of the Catholic faith.

Unlike the previous blog, he does believe in some ecunumical alliances - with other orthodox Christian denominations - those that follow the Bible. And some orthodox Jews, too.

One group he does not like is gays. But that is understandable - since that Bible condemns the activity. For those who argue that you should follow your heart but can be devout, one argument comes back - we are urged to avoid temptation! That is his only sign of any bigotry shown on the blog - otherwise, he shows a tolerance that Christianity dictates.

However, I only skimmed the surface. There is no way I am going to read almost five years of long-winded posts. He does like to write. And much of it is pretty boring. From what I can tell, he is presenting arguments that have been presented before.

However, here is a good springboard for those who want to understand Catholicism more.

Got Doctrine?

Has the Reformation concluded? Well according to:

gotdoctrine.blogspot.com/

it has not.

This is a hyper-Calvinist website that basically wants to slam all other religions, Christian or not. Especially Catholicism, one of it's bugaboos.

In fact, it is so anti-Catholic, that it bashes "The Passion of the Christ." Calling it a "Jesuit" film.
Actually, this is a movie based as closely on the scriptures as possible. How one can call it "Jesuit," one has to make up things that are not there. Like those people who claim there is no denunciation of homosexual acts in the Bible. Or those who make Christ to be some kind of proto-communist.

Yes, belief in Christ the Savior is the best way to get to heaven. However, there are many different boats that can take you to heaven - albeit the fact that there are many, many more boats that will take you to hell. These people are still stuck sometime in the 17th century.

And not only in the religious sense, either. I have never heard of an American supporting the Orange side in the Irish conflict, but apparently, here one is. I don't get why these Irishmen don't realize they are all Irish anyway and unify Ireland - despite religious differences (remember, in America, most devout Catholics and devout Protestants get along with each other quite well).

And he certainly takes a spoof site quite seriously (see www.jeffmilner.com/backmasking.htm, to which he links). If you follow this link, you can find the "Wierd Al" backward masking of "Nature Trail to Hell" (Satan east cheeze whiz!).

There is a lot on this site with which I agree. Specifically, that as a Christian, Christ must be central to your life (duh!). And it does attack other people who engage in anti-Christian bigotry.

However, this site promotes an anti-Catholic bigotry that was prominent almost two generations ago - which has now come back to bite other devout Christians in the ass. The group "Americans United for Seperation of Church and State" started out as "Protestants United for the Seperation of Church and State" and actively opposed Kennedy's election in 1960 merely because he was a Catholic. While I oppose the election of any Kennedy to office, their church affiliation is not the reason why (it's their bad ideas about policy).

As Benjamin Franklin said, "Either we shall hang together, or we will hang seperately."

Desserts (?)

To this day, I find fancy food, like French pastries and baby carrots, disgusting. Give me a nice piece of cake, and I'm in heaven.
Gene Simmons

Everyone knows that Gene Simmons is a. a demon from a psycho circus, and b. a prolifigate womanizer. Little do they know that he is one of the most articulate musicians today. Or one of the most business savvy musicians, either. Or pro-Israel. Or, he has a sweet tooth that rages almost as much as his hormones.

Thus, he is an expert in desserts. And his tastes in desserts are like mine.

Hence, I do not like the desserts presented in this site:

mdesserts.blogspot.com/

This is a site devoted to someone's cookbook. At least this person is willing to share something useful. And some things that some people mistakenly like. However, I can tell that the most of the food listed in here will taste gross.

Sure, the mocha cake will taste good. However, the cheesecake will taste really bad. I know this because cheese doesn't belong in cake. Neither do carrots. In fact, these should be regulated by the federal government either as controlled substances or as environmental hazards that fall under the Superfund law.

Some of you may disagree with me. And find my thoughts puzzling. But that is what you get for being wrong.

In any case, this site have room for significant improvement. Like adding tons of much better recipes. Then it will contribute positively to society.

Hammer Time!

Can't Touch This!

What happens to old rap stars 15 years after their peak of popularity?

Here is a site that provides a clue:

mchammer.blogspot.com/

That's right! MCHammer has his own blog, and on blogspot, too!

Here is the picture of someone who left the entertainment industry, largely, and that it is possible to live a normal life after being heavily in the spotlight. At least that is what is presented. Of course he still does shows - like the Katrina benefit - but he has taken a different path. And, I read elsewhere that he has since become an ordained minister, and turned his back on the entertainment lifestyle.

You get to see his three kids, too, especially his youngest son.

However, looking at ordinary lives can be kinda boring, so this blog is nothing more than to pique curiousity. Given that his style of hip-hop faded in popularity 15 years ago, I don't see how we will see him dominate the spotlight again. So he will no longer be of any big influence (a point in my grading system). It would be of more interest to social historians, when they look at everyone elses blogs in 50 years.

Zombie Time!

Character is what you do when no one is looking
JC Watts

One of my obsessions is regarding politics. This is a lot of other peoples' obsessions today, too. However, many people get blogs, and put in a lot of dribble. A lot of parroting and no original thought. Most political blogs are boring - even those that agree with your point-of-view (left, right, or center).

Not so for Zombietime. This is a person who lives in the Bay Area and goes to political events. Like protests. And given it is the Bay Area, which is largely left-of-center, people can act uninhibited - because no one will report on them. Until now.

It appears from his blog that he merely goes to events and takes pictures. And, hoo boy, what interesting pictures he gets. Like the one showing a t-shirt that W Bush is responsible for JFK's death. Or the one that shows the scrotum inflation. Or the "breasts not bombs" and "dicks not death" protests at UC Berkley (hint - this is not a project carried out the the fraternity brothers or the sorority girls there!). Or the women singing joyously about their genitalia at an execution.

This is a website that is either loved or hated. Loved by right-ringers and hardcore leftists - for different reasons. The right-ringers love this because it shows the left at it's most-er-naked. The hardcore left would love it because, well, they are the stars of this, by-and-large.

I caution you, this is not a family-friendly site! Hence, more sedate religious conservatives would find it repulsive. As well as progressives who have some common sense - knowing that this is very effective propaganda against their viewpoint.

Of course, there are photos which are not shown, which may present a somewhat different picture of what goes on. However, one cannot disprove some of the photos - like that of scrotum inflating.

And, Zombie's sarcasm adds to the propaganda value of it, too.

More and more people are turning to blogs for news that is not presented by other media outlets. Zombietime presents the Bay Area, as well as the very extreme left, in a way that actually exceeds the limits of the imagination. And, it is not full of boring political drivel, like so many other political sites.

Here is the site, by the way:

Sambit's Book Reviews

To start my review of blogs, I will do one that is devoted to book reviews (the first one was my own blog, but since I am perfect, I get an A+ anyway).

Here it is:

samreviews.blogspot.com/

Here is the problem with this blog - he reviews books that no one reads anymore. Either they are too old (like Hemingway's) or too irrelevant (like the 50 billion Hindu books he reviews). In fact, there is only one book he reviewed worth reviewing - that of Jim Collins.

Sure, Bertrand Russell - one of the authors he reviews - was one of the greatest minds of the 20th century, but he is like, well, dead. No use beating up on his works anymore. Instead, his knowledge has been incorporated by the scientific establishments, hashed about, and either accepted or rejected thru scientific research and mathematic journals - pretty much long before I was born. It is useless to do a book review on stuff that is either completely accepted or disproven.

As I have written in my excellent blog Iconoclast, in order to make a book review worthwhile, it a. must be about a recent book, and b. it must be used to demonstrate some fact of life - the subject matter of the book is not necessarily all that important. This is the Vissarion Belinsky school of literary reviews - yes, he died over 150 years ago, and no one outside of Russia has ever heard of him, and he was a flaming socialist (then again, so was every revolutionary in 1845), but this philosophy is a good standard on which to base these things.

Otherwise, the book review is not worth reading. Sure you want to know about whether a book is good or not, but most literary critics really do not have a clue as to what is good or not anyway. That is because they want to show their sophistication by reviewing really pretentious pieces of work (books, songs, artwork, etc.) and acting like they like them. It's like with music. So-called experts, known as DJ's, think that a band like White Stripes or Mad Season is the greatest thing since sliced bread, because it somehow makes them sophisticated (as if - this is pop music!) but they continue to denigrate Stairway. Go figure!

Unless said book review is in the Sunday Times. Then you sound really important when you spout the review at a midtown Manhattan cocktail party. Because it's from the Times, which is the tree of knowledge, if you live in midtown Manhattan. And if they are not at an opera or a disco in Manhattan, they are at a cocktail party. At least that is what I think happens, since I have never been anywhere near Manhattan anyway, but sometimes it is useful to base opinions off of stereotypes.

In any case, by addressing content, he fails to really get his point across. And he is not a writer for the New York Times Sunday Supplement. Hence, this blog is not worth going to, unless you are looking to get some sleep.

Iconoclast

klucko.blogspot.com

The person who wrote this blog is an absolute genius!

The ideas are so fresh, so original, one wonders why he isn't emperor of the universe.

Really, there is nothing else to say. If you disagree with this assessment, that means you definitely have low intelligence.
